These terms are the agreement between you and Alphacrypt Security Ltd (“Waysafe”, “we”) when you use the Waysafe VPN app and website. We’ve kept them as plain as we can.
Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account or using Waysafe, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
What Waysafe does
Waysafe encrypts the internet traffic between your device and our servers, so other people on the same network — for example hotel, airport or café Wi‑Fi — can’t read it. A VPN reduces certain risks; it does not make you anonymous and cannot protect you from every threat, such as phishing, malware or sites you sign in to.
Your account
You need an account to use Waysafe. Keep your sign-in details safe and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You must be at least [13 / 16, depending on region] to use Waysafe.
Subscriptions and free trials
Waysafe is sold as a subscription inside the app, through the App Store or Google Play:
- A free trial, if offered, converts to a paid plan when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
- Plans renew automatically at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel.
- You manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
Acceptable use
Please don’t use Waysafe to:
- break the law, or infringe other people’s rights
- send spam, attack networks or distribute malware
- resell or share the service without our permission
- interfere with the service or other users’ connections
Local laws
VPN use is restricted or regulated in some countries. You are responsible for following the laws of the places you use Waysafe.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Waysafe fast and available, but we can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted. We may add, change or retire features or server locations. If a change significantly reduces what you paid for, we will tell you in advance.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and what we never collect. In short: we don’t keep activity logs.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app or on our Delete account page. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously break these terms; where reasonable, we will warn you first.
Disclaimers and liability
Waysafe is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION]. If you are a consumer, you may also have the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
